| Laindon Shopping Centre Shop Closures & Changes |

The first shops at the new shopping
centre at Laindon began opening in late 1969. Many shops that had previously traded in the High Road were the first to
open. These included Stanwood Radio, T.E. Collins, Peachey's and Keith's. |
