| Comments: | Hello to all, I'm looking for Danny Moore, the lad I caught tiddlers with in 1952/3. The family lived in "The Follies," which was the former shop my grandfather had in Honeypot Lane. The location is by the first bend of what is now Witchards, as approached from the town centre. If anyone can give me further information on that old shop I would love to hear from you. My grandfather repaired motorcycles, charged accumulators and sold domestic needs. |

Culverdown, on the Ghyllgrove housing estate, Basildon, in 1981. Because of her age at that time one can only assume that
she is no longer living. Elizabeth's daughter, Betty, was married on/or about September 29,
1956, I presume in Essex. I have no information concerning Betty's married name. A wedding
photogragh was taken by Hamlet Court Studios, Westcliff-On-Sea, Essex. Betty would probably be
about 71 years of age. Any information relating to Elizabeth or her daughter, Betty, would be greatly appreciated. |

Laindon. Last seen approximately 1955/56. Although I do not remember their surnames (possibly Atkins), their
first names were, Aida, Billy and Lilly. I remember that Aida lived in a Railway Carriage on a smallholding on I believe Northumberland Avenue. Uncle Billy and Aunty Lilly, as I knew them, lived in a Bungalow again on Northumberland Avenue. As far as I can remember, we came down from the Station, and turned right on to the Lane, which ran parallel with the Railway Line. My Grandmothers name was Martha Morris. Any help would be appreciated. |

knew as Christine Crosby, who lived in The Gore, Basildon back in the early 1960's. We used to
dance together on a regular basis at Basildon Locarno as it was then known. I moved away in
1964 and so lost touch, but would so much like to get back in touch if this is at all
