Comments: Have recently discovered Basildon History site and look whenever I got time. I went to Springfields Primary and Woodlands Boys school. I lived in Tangham Walk from 1956 or 57 through to 1969. I am not in contact with anyone from those days but would love to hear from anyone who lived in that part of Basildon during the sixties. The Bunce family lived next door and on the other side were the Cook family I remember Susan Cook and Steve, John and Dennis Bunce. I remember Gary Lewis from Clopton green, John Belcher in the next street and a girl called Julie Cox in Falkenham rise to name a few. I have fond memories of the green hills, saturday cinema at the Century and a blanket of bubbles flowing from the fountain in the town centre I guess someone put washing powder or liquid in the fountain (several times)!

Comments: Hi,

I'm trying to find some history regarding a bungalow that once stood where Westview is on Stacey Drive in Langdon Hills. Does anyone know anything about the occupant of the bungalow?

Thanks
