They stood facing the London bound carriageway 100 yards or so beyond the former Victoria Crescent junction and close to the Fortune of War roundabout. Property's were run down and empty by late 1974 and demolished soon after, possibly 1975. Site was later landscaped.

Other points of interest:
1) Part of Railway Approach, which was
unmade, was later made up with new properties and renamed Cumberland Road. The remainder was bisected in the late 1970s
by West Mayne, which linked High Road to the A127 Arterial Road interchange at Dunton Wayletts. A pedestrian bridge was installed
to link the two sides.
