Lee Chapel South: Parkland and Open Spaces

From around the mid 1950s into the 1960s during the creation of the Lee Chapel South housing developments by Basildon Development Corporation, various areas of land were set aside for the creation of play areas and recreational open space.

The largest of these areas is the recreational open space off Gaynesford and Gregorie Park, with entrances off Great Gregorie and Ardleigh.
