Sigered, King of Essex is a restaurant/pub in East Walk, Basildon Town Centre.

It opened on Tuesday, 21st October, 2025.

The new public house at 8-20 East Walk is located within the Waterloo House building, which was originally constructed in 1960/1961 as retail shop units.

Pub chain operator J.D. Wetherspoon, who had formerly had a presence in the Town Centre running the "Moon on the Square" at Market Square, had been in negotiations to open a new public house following closure of the aforementioned pub in September 2022. That closure occured as a result of the sale and subsequent successful planning application (on appeal) of the entire Market Square block to be replaced with residential tower blocks.
