Comments: The Watermill in East Mayne, built close to Northland's Park and opened in the 1980s.

The Watermill public house and restaurant (Beefeater) first opened in 1981.

It was built on land bordering the A132 East Mayne and ideally placed to serve the nearby recently completed Felmores housing development and as a stop off for passing traffic using the A132.

On site food is provided in the Beefeater Steakhouse Restaurant.

It shares its site with a Travel Inn (Hotel), which opened in February 1987 and was the very first U.K. Travel Inn to open in the country.
